Fostering an Inclusive and Friendly Workplace with Parentings Podcast

Fostering an Inclusive and Friendly Workplace with Parentings Podcast
SDG 5 GENDER EQUALITY

FEAV promotes diversity and inclusion at the workplace. While focusing on gender equality, cultural adaptation and fair treatment, family support is also regarded as a key element of employee care. In 2025, FEAV launched the digital companionship project, Parentings Podcast, to support its factory employees, helping them cope with stress from work, being away from children, difficulties in accessing parenting information and the lack of emotional support. The podcast was broadcast through Being Friends with Our Children, a weekly program on Saturday night, providing parents with practical parenting knowledge, communication approaches and companionship tools, as well as a sustained platform for interaction during their busy schedule.

The podcast is largely based on a question-and-answer (Q&A) format, inviting professional advisors to respond to employees’ concerns. The selected topics address various real-life family scenarios, such as ways to maintain a sense of companionship when parents and children were some distance apart; to establish stable parenting support for single parents; to guide children to explore future paths. The discussions provide valuable insights for employees from diverse backgrounds and family structures. An interactive Q&A segment and prize giveaways are included in each episode. Employees could also share their experience and respond to each other through social media posts. The project has strengthened a sense of participation and community, forming a support network to help employees voice their concerns and feel heard.

FEAV allocated over 36.76 million VND to support this project, and eight episodes were broadcast from June to September 2025, reaching approximately 5,634 FEAV employees. Facebook was also utilized to increase listenership and interaction. The podcast has steadily become a source of information and emotional support for employees facing parenting and work challenges. By providing a continuous source of knowledge and digital support, this project has improved employees’ emotional well-being and family connection. It also represents FEAV’s effort to provide holistic care for its staff and their families and action towards fostering diversity, inclusion and talent sustainability.
