Elite Eagle Program: Cultivating High-potential Talent in Mainland China and Future Successors for FENC

Elite Eagle Program: Cultivating High-potential Talent in Mainland China and Future Successors for FENC
SDG 4 QUALITY EDUCATIONSDG 8 DECENT WORK AND ECONOMIC GROWTH

As market competition intensifies and digital transformation accelerates across the world, developing potential talent and management resilience are seen as the key to honing long-term competitiveness for FENC’s overseas locations. Working in tandem with DDI, a global leadership development firm, FENC is implementing the Elite Eagle Program. With senior executives heavily involved, the program provides systematic yet personalized training through science-based assessments to build the next-generation leadership pipeline with business acumen, digital savviness and the ability to encourage team spirit.

The central focus of the Elite Eagle Program is to identify and cultivate high-potential talent. Candidates are evaluated through the talent assessment tools developed by DDI, which zoom in on six key performance indicators, such as communication, decision-making, collaboration and strategic thinking. Development plans are tailored according to the results, which also serve as the basis for subsequent program design and field training to enhance the precision and traceability of talent development.

The program focuses on a triad of learning, practice and feedback to help 31 participants develop professional and leadership skills. Program specifics include:

  1. In-class Learning: Establish a common language and methodology by strengthening management knowledge and core concepts.
  2. Team Action Learning: Focus on actual business scenarios and organizational issues through inter-departmental collaboration and propose feasible solutions.
  3. Project Completion Report: Verify learning outcome and transferability through project presentations, ensuring that the solutions are applicable and actionable.

This training model not only sharpens participants’ decision-making and analytical abilities, but hones their skills in cross-departmental communication and resource integration, as well as the ability to instigate changes through actual business scenarios. During the project implementation phase, the participants successfully tackled six internal organizational challenges through team action learning and demonstrated mature inter-departmental collaboration and decision-making capabilities, transforming training into action to enhance FENC’s operations.

To review and amplify the effectiveness of the talent development program and action projects, a presentation was held in March 2026 to showcase the outcome of the Elite Eagle Program. The highest-ranking executives from the Businesses in mainland China were invited to examine this journey of growth and the results of the action projects, which will serve as the basis for fine-tuning talent development and pipeline as FENC continues enriching the cross-regional talent pool for succession planning and bolstering organizational resilience.
