Digital Planting Management System


During planning and development, a priority for Tpark was to plant native Taiwanese tree species with high carbon sequestration potential, including Fraxinus griffithii and Zelkova serrata, to enhance the air quality and fortify natural carbon sinks in the urban environment. FERD also stepped up its efforts to protect the trees within Tpark in 2025, creating the digital planting management system to establish standardized procedures for measurement and documentation and facilitate life-cycle monitoring and natural asset archiving. By systematically documenting the growth, maintenance and environmental data of each tree, and conducting long-term tracking and analysis with digital data, the system provides references for evaluating the environmental benefits of native forests effective in carbon sequestration. As of December 22, 2025, 61% of the trees within Tpark have been measured and archived.
